My Project

Help give my students the learning materials they need to succeed in pre-k. My young students love to learn through play and have such a big imagination. They love to socialize while learning. Socialization is a big part of pre-kindergarten, and we are always on the move so new learning material is always a must.

My students and their families are facing economic challenges during this rough time.

They also come to me with no social skills. COVID-19 has played a big role in not allowing my students to socialize with others their own age. I see they are behind and they will need extra interventions to catch them up to where they need to be for their age.

The sensory materials will help them with their fine motor and sensory skills. The table will be used for learning centers. The stuffed animal weighted pillows will help my students who have a hard time sitting still and give them that extra comfort. The power strip will be used to charge the students IPADS to use in their learning centers.
