Fun Friday Games and Interactive Enrichment

Help me give my students games and activities for small group academic time and for FUN FRIDAY!

My Project

I teach 6th-8th grade students who are in a self-contained special education class. All of my students are performing academically two to three levels below grade level. However, that is not an excuse for all the hard work they do academically Monday through Friday. Most of the work that they complete is grade-level work and even though they struggle to get through it and complete it, they are persistent and don't give up. On Friday I like to reward my students with game time and with time to engage in interactive games on the computer or the iPad. This year they have taken a liking to board games and online games. The board games help them to work on their cooperative learning. They have learned how to follow rules, accept defeat, and celebrate their wins all while being respectful to one another. I want to reward them with a whole new set of board games as well as two new Fire tablets that they can enjoy on Friday afternoons for fun Friday.
