Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students in my low incidence cluster classroom are in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. They have Autism, Intellectual Disabilities,, and other disabilities.
Diverse Learners in our classroom work in different groups throughout the school day.
Our classroom Library is placed in bins based of reading level. On Fridays, students select a book of interest to read, and complete a Book Report. Then, they present their Book Report to the class.

My Project
The books in this project will provide students with new books to read on Fun Fridays. On Fridays during Reading, students pick a fun book to read. They read the book to themselves, to the teacher or a paraprofessional. Afterwards, students complete a Book Report on the book they selected. The books in this project will help provide new books to our classroom for Diverse Learners in our classroom. The books selected are based off interest students have shown this school year. Students in class enjoy Pete the Cat, the Hulk, detectives, and the Pigeon series.
