Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting floor seating, step stools and a fort builder kit. My active third graders love their flexible seating options in the classroom. Many of them prefer to work around the room on the floor with lap trays and we are in need of some more to fit the needs of my learners. My students love working together in partners and small groups and are becoming more actively invested in their learning pathways as each week progresses.

This project will give my students options to work around the classroom and many times they choose to move around on the floor with a comfy chair or on our classroom rug.

I would love for them to have options to feel right at home while at school.
