Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Imagine a classroom in which all students needs are met. My dream is to foster a love of learning in my students however possible. The students in my class are passionate, excited, and hungry to learn!
Anyone that has visited my class has been met with a noisy class and I love it that way.
A class in which meaningful discussion is happening is a class in which we are collaborating! I want my classroom to be a home away from home for my children so they feel safe and welcome to contribute to the learning environment.
My Project
My classroom is a colorful and inviting room in which students can feel free to be themselves. Our class is a place students may feel safe. Essentially I would love our students to consider our class a home away from home.
Students feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment.
By allowing students to have a choice in their learning environment, we not only ensure academic growth, but we encourage them to grow socially while making wise choices when it comes to their education.
Allowing us to add to our classroom's flexible seating option will excite our students and make it that much more fun!
