This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is a helpful website with standards-based resources that are created for teachers, by teachers. This website is filled with all kinds of lesson ideas and projects that can be used to supplement our district-adopted curriculum. In the past, I have used Teachers Pay Teachers to purchase templates for art projects and to provide additional social-emotional resources that are often absent from our district-adopted curriculum. This website has also been helpful for when I need to provide students with engaging content that is either above or below grade level, as well as when I need resources for my newcomer students.

With the gift cards that I am requesting, I will be able to purchase classroom resources for Women's History Month, Black History Month, and other important topics that are not always present in our textbooks.

I will also be able to purchase fun learning activities that align with our ELA, math, science, and social studies units.
