Fun Discussions in First Grade!

Help me give my students extraordinary discussions with a Qball and bluetooth speaker!

My Project

Earlier this year, I was able to go to a professional development meeting and I fell in love with this Qball. When attached to a bluetooth speaker, the ball can be thrown around and when you speak into it, it is a microphone. The other teachers and I at this meeting were blown away, we had a blast using the Qball. I instantly started thinking of the many ways I would be able to implement this fun gadget into my classroom.

My students would be so excited and eager to share their ideas!

Creating a classroom where students lead and engage in discussion is a priority of mine. My students are very shy when it comes to presenting. I know that this ball would get students excited to speak and take anxieties away. I know that this project would take student learning to the next level in my class. They have so much to share and learn from each other, this tool will give them the confidence they need to share their ideas.
