This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These alphabet and counting toys will be center activities for my incoming kindergarteners. They address foundational skills that not all students have at the beginning of the school year.
These wonderful toys will catch their eye and make learning fun.
These will be choices for students during free play time. Their nature will allow me to provide an extra academic boost - and an enjoyable learning time to my students.
The activities are also open ended, and allow for students to work with each other. That way, they are not only learning the academic basics, they are also socializing, taking turns, and learning to problem-solve together.
