This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy counting and would enjoy it even more with many different manipulatives that they would be able to count. By having different manipulatives I will be able to increase they attention and participation depending on their individual interests.
Giving access to different manipulatives based on a students interests greatly increases their desire and ability to be a active participant in their learning.
We can use these manipulatives for many different preschool math skills such as counting, patterning, sorting, and measuring. The possibilities are endless with the creative minds of little ones!
