Our student body is beautifully diverse. The demographics of our 970 6th through 8th-grade students are as follows: American Indian/Alaskan Native 3.2%, Asian 7.9%, Black/African American 6.2%, Hispanic/Latino 43%, Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander 7.8%, White 21.6%, Two or More Races 10.2%.
Your donation will provide access to fun books that relate to their state history for all of our wonderful students because the books will be part of our school library!
We are hoping to provide titles about our state's events, people, tribes, and places. One of our social studies teachers is already planning a collaboration project for students to use the fun library books your donation provides to connect more deeply with their state history. Your donation will allow students to have a range of reading options - from Washington state tribes - to state landmarks and events - to state sports teams - to famous people from our state - and more! This will get our students more excited about their state history, and it will help the learning come alive!
Every student in our school can benefit from your donation of these books as these books will become part of our school's library. The books you provide will be enjoyed by students now and for years to come!
