Fun and Stuff

Help me give my students an interactive and fun way to learn sight words and math facts using the table top wheel and magnetic ten frames.

My Students

My classroom includes 25 students that are from the inner city. They receive free breakfast and lunch. They are curious and energetic problem solvers that would benefit from having additional resources in the class. This is most of my students' first experience in school.

My Project

These resources will allow me to teach reading and writing to Kindergarten students in a fun and interactive way. These items will help with students engagement and help them retain sight words that my students are struggling with right now. This will help build their confidence and help others as I prepare them for first grade in the fall.

The magnetic ten frames will be used to show students how to show numbers 1-20.

Teen numbers is a difficult concept for Kindergarten to grasp. The ten frames will give them hands on experience. The interactive wheel can also be used for story writing and vocabulary word recognition.
