My Project
Something I have learned this year is that we spend WAY too much time on computers and if not using computers the go-to is a worksheet. Center time in Kindergarten is tough but SO important. Centers allow the teacher to work in small groups of students thereby giving them more targeted learning. The problem with Kindergarten is the independent time. In the beginning most are unable to hold a pencil or write their name let alone complete a worksheet. I’d like to give my students the opportunity to bring back learning through play. These center bins will allow students to learn without completing a nonsense worksheet or spending time on a device.
