This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What are STEM Bins? Well, STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and math and our STEM Bins will be filled with materials applicable to these subjects, such as LEGO blocks and building plates, Magna-Tiles, and Playstix. These STEM Bins are essentially tools that will be used regularly in our classroom to engage our young learners in STEM activities while having fun!
These STEM Bins will help foster a classroom culture of collaboration, innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving via play.
Fostering these skills in our TK and Kindergarten students, when they are full of curiosity, will set them up for years of success in the future.
