Brightly colored murals, beautiful garb, fresh fruits , and vegetables at the corner market, and the smell of delicious Indian food coming from the nearby kitchen; this is the environment my students live in.
We have a beautiful neighborhood that embodies the Indian culture.
Unfortunately, my school is in a low-income neighborhood. My students, who are a diverse mix of cultures, attend a school that strives to give them an excellent education. Many of them are first-generation Americans and are excited to begin school.
My Project
Remote learning is not easy for the child, teacher, and even parent! Assigning engaging, fun, and diverse content is important for students to be completing at home! Teachers Pay Teachers is a site that has numerous activities that students can do at home. Assigning fun activities ensures that my students will be successful in accomplishing assignments when remote.
Teachers Pay Teachers resources would be an amazing supplement for my students' remote learning.
I would be able to assign them hands-on lessons in math, reading and activities that go along with our curriculum. What's great about this site is that the lessons are not only created by teachers but a lot of assignments are digital! This is so helpful especially this school year! My students look forward to continuing their education in school but also a quality one at home too!
