My Project

The use of a storage cart is almost a daily necessity in my classroom, especially in STEM and 3D printing. Utilizing a hands-on approach in STEM and 3D printing, students gather to work on projects and experiments, needing a central location for their various tools and materials.

The storage cart allows me to keep everything organized and readily accessible, as well as provide a convenient place for them to store and retrieve what they need.

What often becomes a challenge is the fact that we never seem to have more filament for the 3D printers, essential tools get misplaced, and the workspace slowly becomes cluttered from frequent use. When a need arises, students know that they must leave their work area to find more filament, locate a specific tool, or, as a last resort, improvise with less suitable materials. Even though they are usually good about this, it can be distracting for many of my students who have focusing issues, and they miss important instructions or collaborative discussions. By having a well-organized storage cart with more filament, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and concentrate on enhancing their learning!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be able to simply focus on the STEM and 3D printing material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not. Plus, in this technology-driven world, any interaction with well-organized resources and consistent access to necessary supplies will increase their efficiency and engagement, as well as their desire to learn and use the available tools effectively!
