My Project
I am the school health assistant for WEMS. We are a PreK - 8 school. Our student body is roughly 754. I have been doing this job for 20+ years from a student count of 230. In the past, I would buy snack for the children who arrived at school without time to eat breakfast or the ones that only ate an apple and chocolate milk that now have a stomach ache. Being a Title 1 school means that more than
half the student are facing daily food insecurity. Thank you to all that are here to help the children.
