Many of the students at my school do not enjoy the breakfast provided by our cafeteria. As a result, they often go without eating for a large portion of the day. Having a variety of snacks in my classroom would enable me to meet students where they're at and help them to bring their full selves into our learning environment. Especially in a "scary" subject like math, students deserve to feel physically ready to lock in the work and do their best.
Furthermore, the fluorescent lights ubiquitous in classrooms across the nation often hinder students with their harsh tone.
Having light covers would soften the light of the classroom and aid in concentration and mood for all members of the classroom, including me!
