My Students

"I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." was famously stated by Confucius. I believe the point of this quote is more important for today's students than for any other generation.

I have every kind of student there is and we are fortunate to be at a great school.

As fantastic as our school is, though, we are just like most other schools today in that we are not overflowing with extra money for resources. My students are very typical of the current generation: they need high interest, engaging ways to learn. Old methods of teaching won't work anymore with them as they have been exposed to more new inventions than any of us could have ever dreamed possible.

My Project

By using these building materials, students will explore science concepts such as physics and engineering and technology skills through programming some of the kits. They will also have hands-on logical problem solving opportunities through the use of these materials. Finally, they will strengthen their real world career-ready skills of cooperation and communication as they work together in groups to build these projects.

This project will not only increase student's academic and technology skills and understanding, but also will allow the students to have fun while doing it!

We know that the early years of student's learning impact them dramatically. You would be part of them becoming a lifelong, confident learner.
