My students need a variety of STEM activities that aim to foster inquiring minds, logical reasoning, and collaboration skills and a mobile listening center (player, center, and seats).

My Students

Did you love kindergarten? My students do! I teach kindergarten to a highly motivated, fun, and diverse group of students at a Title I school with 64% free and reduced breakfast and lunch.

My students come to school ready and eager to learn!

They are creative and love hands-on learning. I incorporate hands-on learning as much as possible and hope to be able to include more.

My students are faced with daily challenges and our school is unable to provide all the materials that are needed in order for them to reach their full potential. I provide them with a safe and nurturing environment where they feel comfortable taking risks and trying out new things. Unfortunately, I cannot provide all the resources that are needed to make our classroom the best learning environment possible.

My Project

My students need STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) activities aimed to foster inquiring minds, logical reasoning, and collaboration skills. This includes STEM Science Stations where the children explore magnetism, motion and buoyancy, an engineering-a-coaster activity kit, a magnetic design center, fairy tale problem solving STEM kits, a STEM journal, giant roller ramps, and a new mobile listing center with seating and CD player. These hands-on items enhance the learning that is being done during the school day and will be used whole group, small group, and individually.

By providing the requested items, my students will have the materials necessary to meet their needs and my students will get the support and reinforcement that is needed for their success.
