My Project
My students are unique and hardworking scholars. I teach in a small GA city, with many students receiving free/reduced-price lunches. Most of our students come from the neighborhood around my school, which creates a strong sense of family and community involvement. However, my students still face the additional challenges that poverty can bring. Despite the various challenges that my students and their families face, my students work hard to overcome their obstacles to ensure that they are on a path to success. They are bright, sweet individuals who light up my day whenever I see them.
