My Project

Our elementary school educates over 400 students in grades K-5 who love to explore and learn. My students love to read and use technology in the Media Center, and they look forward to the Media class each week.

As the Media Specialist, it is my job to help foster a love of learning and to offer opportunities for students to develop skills and interests.

The Media Center has implemented a STEAM curriculum in order for students to work hands-on with technology and to practice problem solving skills. We wish to undertake many exciting projects that will allow students to think outside the box, but we do not have a budget to do so.

This LittleBits Electronics kit will spark student-led discovery. The snap-together electronic Bits will help foster innovation and encourage my students to create and solve problems with confidence.
