These materials will open the door to STEAM exploration in our second grade class. The Glo Germ and black lights will help us see the germs around us and help us to wash our hands better. Using the other resources, students will explore, plan, design, share, and explain as they use these materials to build, collaborate, and explore the world around them. All materials will be used to build their imaginations and their creativity. They will use mathematical and engineering skills to create. This takes critical thinking skills and collaboration.
My little engineers will delight in bringing their creative ideas to life.
I hope to motivate and inspire my students to engage in more STEAM activities throughout the year! I can just imagine their excitement and instant motivation if these new materials were added to their STEAM opportunities.
