Help me give my students a Mobile STEAM Station where students of grades K-5 will have a choice of different STEAM activities and tools so that their minds are always working.
At our school, we have the vision that all students will soar as lifelong learners in a diverse and global society. Our mission is to increase achievement by focusing on students' academic, social, and emotional growth through rigorous instruction, while fostering a collaborative learning community to ensure all students unlock their limitless potential. This is my first year teaching STEAM to an amazing group of K-5th grade students. I truly enjoy introducing new and challenging projects that spark their interests and imagination. Many of our students come from homes where science, technology, engineering, art and math resources are very limited.
Being able to supply my mobile classroom with innovative products will open a world of opportunity that my students might have otherwise imagined.
Our jobs of tomorrow require 21st-century skills. These projects will be able to provide the hands-on tasks and skills they need.
My Project
The Mobile STEAM Station will be a great place where all our STEAM supplies can be utilized for stations. It will allow our students to have an organized workspace where they can focus on solving STEAM challenges with all their tools at hand. Our students love STEAM! I can only imagine their excitement to find our STEAM station growing to match their enthusiasm! Our lessons will involve a lot of creativity, problem solving, and collaboration. The Mobile STEAM Station will definitely provide us the tools needed to make this happen.
