This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Most of our students live in poverty with as many as two families living in one apartment. We also have homeless students who live in campers on the street. School is where they come to gain the skills and knowledge they need to overcome these challenges.
Our school is a great place for learning!
We have been working hard to help our students overcome the challenges they face every day. Won't you help brighten the future for these wonderful students.
My Project
We will use the iPad minis to record our science explorations. We will also use them to explore the web for information and tools to use during science.
Technology expands learning in many ways including recording and exploring the world around us.
Help us create and learn with these incredible and versatile tools. The students will not only be learning science by how to incorporate technology into their learning.
Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and now Technology! We will draw, make videos, use online tools, collaborate and so much more as we build our STEAM skills and strategies throughout the day.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
