My Students
On a typical school day, my students work in a variety of subject areas. Technology integration is one of the the most important elements to ensure the success of my students. Students having what they need to succeed, and stay on top is key.
My students are a wonderful, active, hands on group of individuals.
On a typical day, my students work together to help one another out with problem solving and learning. My school is located in an area that is a mix of middle and low income households. Having said that, my students do not let their limitations at home hold them back at school. When they are at school, my students are actively involved in taking control of their day and their learning. They sing, they laugh, they look out for each other.
My Project
My students crave technology! Document cameras would be a wonderful addition to our classroom because they are able to be used in a variety of ways. First, my students will use these document cameras to become more active and involved with group participation; being able to stay focused on the subject at hand, will make a huge difference in student participation! Second, they will be able to better focus on what their peers and group mates are discussing, because they will be able to project their books and projects on to the wall, or other area, for all to see. Lastly, these document cameras will help to ensure that my students are able to access technology in a way that they have not previously been able to do so.
