This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am hoping to create new and engaging STEAM activities for my class. My students are hands-on learners who love to be creative and make new things! I would love for my little engineers to have the opportunity to have fun ways to work collaboratively, remain engaged, and foster their love of science.

Having access to these STEAM activities will encourage my students to be critical thinkers, work with their peers, and help them to become engineers in the classroom.

This project will allow me to give my students the freedom to explore STEM in any way they choose. As a primarily ELL school, my students work best when given the opportunity to show what they know. In having STEM activities they can show their creativity and have fun!
