My Students
September 3, 2019 was the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL and my first time meeting my kiddos. They are enthusiastic, full of energy and looking forward to a new school year. I am thrilled to be servicing Kindergarten, First and Second grade with special abilities. These kiddos walked into the first day with bright smiles, laughter and positive attitudes. A few of them expressed their eagerness to learn to read. A few of them expressed how nervous they are to be in a new grade level but also excited for the year. With all students coming from different walks of life, they are eager and excited to be apart of the school community.
My Project
As a resource teacher in a resource room, it is important that my kiddos have a comfortable and well-organized environment to excel in. It is important that they feel safe, comfortable and warm. It is also important that materials are organized, labeled and in plain sight for my kiddos to grab. Safety, comfortability and organization are the top three goals that I am trying to accomplish for my kiddos and my classroom.
The indestructible folding rest mat will be used when my kiddos need a moment to calm their bodies or a moment of rest.
The soft seats will be apart of flexible seating within the classroom which allows students a choice in their seating to promote healthy learning. The comfy floor seats will be used in our classroom library for students to sit comfortably and read a book. The magnetic numbers and letters will be used during math and literacy stations. The caddies and book bins will be used to organize materials and make them easily and readily accessible for my kiddos. The donation of these materials will assist my kiddos in their learning processes by making their classroom comfortable and organized. Thank you for your support!
