My Project
My students are smart, funny, and resilient, many of them have had to grow up fast and experienced events in their life that no child should. I strive to make my classroom a safe, caring place for all my students no matter if they have the ability to purchase what they need or not.
Having healthy snack options available for my students who may not have the resources to bring one from home helps create a classroom where we reduce anxiety and focus on learning.
Your support allows these students to not worry about their basic needs. They know if they are hungry, they will be cared for, they won't feel left out. When students needs are met that is when they can begin learning.
