This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items will help my students in two main ways this upcoming school year, motivation, and incentive. I am hoping to both motivate my students to do their best learning and incentivize their behavior in positive ways.
Students learn best when their needs are met.
I have requested snacks for this project. It is well documented that children learn best when their basic needs are met. Many times I have students who arrive late and miss breakfast. We also have a late lunch which means hungry students mid-morning. Having these snacks on hand will help me to ensure my students' needs are met, therefore allowing them to learn their best. I have requested snacks such as Scooby Snacks, Goldfish, Fruit Snacks, Rice Krispie Treats, Cheez-Its, Cheese Sandwich Crackers, Takis, and more.
