My Project
Providing healthy snacks, games, essential classroom supplies, and cleaning supplies will create a more supportive and engaging learning environment in the following ways:
• Healthy Snacks: Many students struggle with hunger, due to socioeconomic status, which impacts focus and participation.
Having healthy brain-friendly snacks available ensures they have the energy to stay engaged and succeed academically.
• Games: Interactive learning games encourages collaboration, and enhances critical thinking skills by making complex concepts more accessible and fun. Chess and Connect 4 are a great way of teaching critical thinking skills by analyzing the consequences of each move.
• Classroom Supplies: These supplies such as Post It Pads, Expo Markers, promote active learning, allowing students to brainstorm, annotate texts, and participate in hands-on activities that improve comprehension and critical thinking.
• Cleaning Supplies: A clean classroom creates a comfortable and healthy space for learning, reducing distractions and promoting student well-being.
