My Students
My amazing middle school students are smart, creative, spontaneous, and full of a love of learning! They come to school each day with lots of questions about the world around them. Whether working on math problems or conducting science experiments, my students love to learn by doing.
Our school serves many military families from the nearby Air Force base, a Navy EOD school, and an Army Special Forces cantonment.
We are in a unique area to have military families from so many different branches of service. Because of the challenges of military life, my students are resilient and hard-working.
My Project
Field Day is a big experience for my students. Being outside with your friends, playing games, and smiling after working hard for an entire school year makes memories that last a lifetime. Because of COVID last year, the students missed out on Field Day. This year, we want to give students a Field Day bigger and better than ever. But middle schoolers are always hungry, especially after they exercise.
With your support, my students can have an extra special way to celebrate Field Day by keeping their bodies fueled as they participate in our active Field Day kick ball games.
The new kickballs are needed so that our teams can participate in a kickball tournament during Field Day. The griddle we are requesting will give our students some healthy fuel for their bodies during an active day of sports and kickball games.
