This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our high school in Maxwell, CA, sports are more than just games—they are a vital part of our students' growth, teamwork, and school spirit. With 80% of our student body participating in athletics, our small but mighty school thrives on the dedication and determination of our student-athletes.

As a necessary small high school, we face unique financial challenges.

About 68% of our students come from low-income families, making it difficult to afford the essential equipment, uniforms, and resources needed to keep our programs running. These resources include football wristbands, a scoreboard, and whiteboards. Despite these obstacles, our students continue to show up, work hard, and represent their school with pride.

Your generous support will directly impact our athletes by providing the funding necessary to maintain and improve our sports programs. Whether it’s new gear, transportation to games, or upgrades to our facilities, every donation makes a difference in ensuring our students have the opportunities they deserve.
