Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Seeing my students reach their full potential is my greatest passion, and I believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. In my classroom, I work hard to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel valued and empowered. However, I've noticed that hunger can be a significant barrier to their success, especially when working through our demanding STEM curriculum.
By providing access to healthy snacks and breakfast options, we can ensure their basic needs are met, allowing them to focus on the complex problem-solving and critical thinking required in STEM.
A well-nourished student is more likely to respond to positive feedback, participate in hands-on activities, and regulate their emotions, ultimately leading to a more successful and joyful learning experience for everyone. In STEM, focus and engagement are paramount; a hungry student struggles to grasp abstract concepts or participate in collaborative projects. Your generous donation will directly support our efforts to provide these essential resources, helping us nurture both their minds and their spirits, and empower them to excel in the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
