Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The student store in our class is more than just a place to shop—it’s a powerful tool for teaching important life skills and reinforcing positive behavior. By helping fund supplies for our store, donors such as yourself will be providing my students with the opportunity to earn rewards for good behavior, academic achievements, and overall engagement. These rewards, such as school supplies, fun prizes, and small treats, will motivate my students to strive for excellence and foster a sense of accomplishment. The store creates an environment where students feel appreciated for their efforts, encouraging them to stay motivated and work harder throughout the school year.
In addition to being a space for positive reinforcement, the student store also serves as a hands-on classroom for financial literacy.
By managing and using the store, students can learn valuable skills such as budgeting, pricing, and making change. This real-world experience helps them understand the basics of money management in a way that is interactive and engaging. Your generous donations have the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing the supplies necessary for this unique learning opportunity, giving students the chance to develop skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.
