Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help my students stay energized, hydrated, and ready to explore on our upcoming field trip to the Science Museum! Many of my students come from Title 1 families, and a large number are English Language Learners who work hard every day to succeed.
With this project, we’re raising funds to provide healthy snacks, water, juice, and an insulated can cooler to keep our students refreshed and focused as they engage with the museum’s exhibits and activities.
The snacks will include nutritious options like granola bars, fresh fruit, and trail mix to keep them fueled throughout the day. The water and juice will ensure they stay hydrated, while the insulated cooler will keep their drinks cool and refreshing, even on a warm day.
This field trip is a fantastic opportunity for our students to connect their classroom learning with real-world experiences. For many of our Title 1 students and ELLs, this trip will be a life-changing experience that will enhance their language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence.
