This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a vibrant and curious group of prekindergarten students. At this crucial early learning stage, their minds are like sponges, eager to absorb everything around them. We explore letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and the world around us through play-based learning, songs, and hands-on activities. My students come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide range of learning styles, making it essential to have a variety of engaging materials to meet their individual needs.

The Challenge: Finding high-quality, developmentally appropriate resources that cater to the diverse learning styles of my young students can be challenging and often requires personal financial investment.

While I strive to create engaging lessons, access to a wider range of professionally created materials would significantly enhance our learning environment.
