My Project
In my classroom, I serve students who come from socioeconomically deprived backgrounds, each with their own unique stories and challenges. Many of these children face a variety of difficulties at home, which can significantly affect their emotional and academic well-being. I see how hunger and other situations can impact their ability to learn and feel secure.
I aim to provide healthy snacks that not only nourish my students' bodies but also support their social, emotional, and physical well-being.
By offering these snacks, I can foster an environment where my students feel cared for, valued, and empowered to engage in their learning.
Providing these snacks is about more than just food; it’s about compassion and empathy. When students are physically nourished, they can focus on their studies and build the social connections that are so vital to their growth. I want them to know that they have a teacher and community that cares deeply about their well-being and success.
