Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students attend a Title I school, and many are working to build foundational literacy skills. They are bright, curious, and eager to learn, especially when the material feels relevant to their lives.

These books will allow my students to see themselves in stories that reflect their culture and language, sparking a lifelong love of reading.

These engaging, accessible stories will help emerging readers build fluency while encouraging heritage speakers to deepen their connection to language. My goal is to create a vibrant classroom library that builds literacy, strengthens identity, and inspires a lifelong love for reading in Spanish.
