My Project

My students are curious, creative, and full of energy. Every day, they walk into our classroom ready to explore, connect, and grow. What I love most is their resilience and their eagerness to learn, even when resources are limited. They’re kind to each other, passionate about learning, and always willing to try something new. They inspire me to be a better teacher every day.

This project will provide desk dividers for my students, giving them a simple but powerful tool to support focus, reduce distractions, and encourage independent work.

Whether we’re working on writing, math, or assessments, desk dividers help create personal learning spaces that foster concentration and boost confidence. Desk dividers are especially helpful for students who are easily distracted or overwhelmed in a busy classroom. They offer a sense of privacy and reduce visual noise, making it easier for all students—especially those with ADHD, sensory sensitivities, or anxiety—to do their best work.

Crayons allow students to bring their ideas to life. From illustrating their writing to helping produce various make and take learning tools. Crayons give every student a chance to express their creativity and deepen their understanding in a colorful way. Currently, our classroom stools do not fit comfortably under our table with the students sitting in them. Stools offer flexible seating options so students can find the best way to stay comfortable and focused while they work. Some kids need to wiggle or move a bit to stay engaged, and stools can help create a classroom that supports different learning styles.

Together, these simple supplies will make a big difference in creating a more focused, creative, and inclusive learning environment.
