Fueling Future Scientists and Artists With One 3D Printer
Help me give my students a Bambu A1 3D printer to build models, explore biology and art, and strengthen creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration through fun, hands-on, and cross-curricular learning experiences.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A Bambu A1 3D printer will transform the way my students learn by making their ideas tangible. In biology, they'll design and print models of cells, body systems, and ecosystems, giving them a deeper, hands-on understanding of what we study. We’ll also use it to create anatomical models that support instruction throughout the year. Other classes like Art and STEM electives can use the printer too, making it a shared resource that sparks creativity schoolwide.
Students in the South Bronx deserve access to the same cutting-edge tools and creative opportunities as anyone else.
Exposure to technology like this is incredibly formative it builds confidence, encourages problem-solving, and helps students see themselves as innovators. My students are imaginative, driven, and eager to learn, but they often don’t have access to tools like this outside of school. With this project, they'll gain real-world design experience while learning science in a way that’s active, joyful, and memorable.
