Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The snacks I have requested will assist in fighting hunger in the classroom and keep students fed, and excited to learn. The snacks will provide a quick energy boost, keeping them focused and engaged for the lesson.
Classroom snacks will enhance student's ability to stay on task and promote positive emotional well-being, both of which are essential for effective learning.
My goal is to create an environment that is both fun and supportive, where students can enjoy their favorite snacks and have easy access to them in case they are hungry. We have a late lunch so it is important that students are not hungry during the morning time when the bulk of our lessons occur. By providing this comfort, I hope to boost their enthusiasm for learning, improve classroom participation, and foster a sense of community and belonging.
My students are a group of curious, energetic, and unique individuals who bring a lot of personality to the classroom. They each have different needs and interests, but what unites them is their desire to learn and explore. These snacks will cater to their individual preferences and help them feel seen and heard, which is key to building a positive classroom culture.
