As a 4th-grade teacher, I strive to create a classroom environment where every student feels supported, energized, and ready to learn. One of the challenges I see daily is students coming to school hungry or needing a little boost during the day to stay focused. That’s why I’m requesting a variety of individually packaged snacks such as pretzels, cookies, fruit snacks, and lollipops. These small treats can make a big difference in helping my students stay alert, feel cared for, and stay on task—especially during long afternoons or after physical activities.
I often purchase snacks out of my own pocket to make sure no student goes without, but the cost adds up quickly and becomes difficult to manage over time.
Having these snacks available will also allow me to reward good behavior and hard work in a way that’s affordable, fun, and effective. Whether it's a quick pick-me-up or a celebration of a job well done, these snacks will help create a positive classroom culture. Your support will ensure my students have what they need to stay nourished, motivated, and engaged in their learning every single day. Thank you for helping us meet not just academic, but personal needs as well!
