Fueling Future Forensic Scientists: Snacks & Rewards for Success

My Project

What I love most about my students is their curiosity, resilience, and determination to succeed—even when faced with challenging material. They bring a unique energy to our forensic science class, asking thoughtful questions, diving deep into investigations, and supporting one another like a true team of young scientists.

Each resource in this project plays a crucial role in helping them thrive.

Snacks provide the fuel they need to stay focused during long labs or after-school study sessions, especially when they’re mentally fatigued or may not have eaten. Rewards, whether small treats or tokens of recognition, celebrate their effort, growth, and problem-solving skills, reinforcing a positive and motivating classroom culture. These simple but powerful supports help my students stay engaged, feel seen, and reach their full potential.
