Fueling Future Builders: Snacks for Success at Nationals

Help me give my students snacks while they travel for national SkillsUSA competitions.

My Project

They did it! My students placed first in their SkillsUSA competition in our state, so now we are off to compete for the national title. For the remainder of this school year and well into summer, these students will spend hours practicing and fine tuning their presentation to perfection in hopes of bringing home the national title. With this trip comes new uniforms, van rentals, extra food and gas money, registration fees, and hotel feels.

With so many expenses going in to a trip such as this, providing snacks for the nearly seven hour drive and for the students' hotel rooms will relieve some of the financial strain from their families.

If you've every fed a teenager, you know they eat non-stop! With your help, we can take just a little strain off of the preparation for national competition by lessening the cost of food. With a full stomach, students can concentrate on getting that big win and having the experience of a lifetime!
