This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Your support will provide athletic equipment to promote team sports and community building. The use of these items will make a positive impact on their health both physically and mentally. Staying active is a great way for students to release stress, regroup, and decompress.
In addition to the physical benefits, team activities help strengthen relationships and foster a strong sense of belonging.
This is particularly important with our student population.
Sports is a way to creates a safe, inclusive environment where students can learn to collaborate, communicate, and support one another.
