This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year teacher at a Title I school, I am eager to provide my 4th-grade students with meaningful and active learning experiences but we need your help to get moving! Many of my students come from underserved communities where access to safe, structured physical activity is limited. Having quality PE equipment at school gives them a much-needed outlet to stay active, build teamwork skills, and develop healthy habits for life.

Unfortunately, our school’s PE resources are limited, and my students often have to share worn-out equipment or go without.

I’m requesting basic yet essential items such as balls, jump ropes, cones, and other fitness tools that will support engaging, inclusive, and fun physical activities.

Your generous donation will help my students move their bodies, strengthen their minds, and build confidence. Thank you for investing in their health, joy, and future!
