Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my high school students is their drive, creativity, and untapped potential. They bring diverse perspectives, big ideas, and a desire to make sense of the world around them. Even when faced with challenges, they show up eager to learn, grow, and prepare for their futures.
Many of my students face barriers when it comes to accessing technology—both in and outside of school.
This gap limits their ability to fully engage with digital learning tools, research, collaborate on projects, or build the tech skills that are essential in college, careers, and life.
With these iPads, I’ll be able to provide students with the resources they need in personalized ways. These iPads will support everything from research and writing to multimedia projects and college/career exploration. Students will use them to create videos, design presentations, access academic apps, and collaborate more easily with peers on group work.
For students who need extra support, the iPads will also offer accessible tools like text-to-speech, language translation, and differentiated content. For advanced learners, they open doors to enrichment and deeper exploration.
Most of all, these devices will help foster equity—ensuring that all students, regardless of background, can fully participate in a modern learning environment and build confidence in their digital skills.
