Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, students are encouraged to think outside the box, embrace their creativity, and express themselves through various forms of art. However, many of them lack access to the quality art supplies they need to fully explore their artistic potential. By providing these supplies, we will open the door for my students to engage in creative exploration, build their confidence, and develop important skills for both art and life.

Many of my students come from backgrounds where art supplies are not readily available.

This project will empower them to create and explore in ways they never thought possible. Art not only enhances students' fine motor skills and problem-solving abilities, but it also nurtures emotional expression and a sense of accomplishment. With these supplies, students will have the tools to bring their ideas to life and, in turn, strengthen their connection to learning and their own sense of identity.
