This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am proposing an engaging and educational project aimed at providing my students with copies of the graphic novel adaptation of Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451."

This project will empower my students to delve into the rich thematic content of the novel, examining its historical context, exploring the enduring issue of censorship, and fostering a deeper appreciation for literature.

As a new media, entertainment, and media-technology magnet-themed school, we aim to leverage the visual storytelling medium of graphic novels to captivate our students' interest while promoting critical thinking and creativity. This novel will be an excellent way to both meet the curriculum standards, but also promote the theme of our magnet program.
