Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Empowering Girls to Lead, Connect, and Thrive!
My students are incredible young girls with bright futures, resilience, and a desire to grow into strong leaders.
Many face daily challenges, yet they show up eager to learn, support one another, and build confidence.
The EmpowerHER Club provides a safe space where girls develop leadership skills, self-esteem, and meaningful connections. With snacks, they can fully engage without hunger being a distraction. Bracelet beads will help them build friendships through creativity, while board games will encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and collaboration.
Our school mascot is the Tigers, and we’ll use tiger-themed conversation starters to spark discussions and strengthen bonds. This project will create a supportive environment where these young girls can thrive, feel valued, and be empowered to reach their full potential.
